Code of Conduct
Our graduation celebration is intended to be a festive occasion celebrating the accomplishments of our students. However, it is also ceremonial. Guests are expected to abide by the following guidelines:
- Follow any public health directives in place on the date of the event, such as wearing masks, vaccination, or COVID-19 testing.
- Remain in designated seating and observation sections during the entire ceremony unless utilizing the restrooms.
- Silence all devices that may disrupt the ceremony.
- Out of respect for others, hold applause and cheers until designated times.
- Refrain from disruptive behavior that is potentially harmful to others or distracts from the event, including verbal and non-verbal discrimination, harassment, or threats.
- Follow all federal, state, and local laws, university guidelines, and venue-specific rules.
- Follow all instructions from event staff and volunteers.
